One Tablet with Over 100 Benefits

After much work, deliberation, tweaks, updates and more tweaks, we finally landed on what we think is our perfect formula for getting maximum goodness from a single convenient daily tablet.

This article gives a summary of the key benefits that are provided by the range of ingredients in our Everyday Tablets.

For those who, like us, love the nerdy science bits, we've also provided a detailed benefits-per-ingredient breakdown in a separate article that can be found here.

Whilst our Everyday Tablets include a lot of good stuff, it's important to stress that they should be enjoyed alongside a healthy, balanced diet and lifestyle, rather than replacing these things.

Overview of Key Benefits

Essential Vitamins

Vitamins are complex organic materials, essential for controlling chemical reactions in the body and converting food into both energy and living tissue.  Vitamins are, therefore, vital in maintaining the body's health and balance.

Many vitamins are water soluble, meaning that they cannot be stored in the body (e.g. vitamin C and all B vitamins).  Therefore, the old adage of 'an apple a day' is for good reason as regular intake is vital!  Vitamins are also particularly vulnerable to heat and, therefore, nutrients in the foods we consume can often be diminished as a result of typical cooking processes.

Our Everyday Tablets include the full spectrum of essential vitamins.  That's vitamin A to K, and everything in-between.

Metabolism & Energy Release

So what exactly is metabolism?  Metabolism consists of the life-sustaining chemical reactions that take place in the body, essentially how the body processes and converts consumed foods into energy.

There are 15 different ingredients in our Everyday Tablets that contribute to the proper function of the body's metabolism.  This helps the body get the calories it needs from foods eaten, so that foods can be more efficiently and effectively utilised as fuel.

In addition to helping the body metabolise foods, some of these ingredients also help the body metabolise and use other micronutrients, helping the body further benefit from all the good stuff being ingested.  For example, vitamin C increases the body's absorption of iron, and copper helps the body metabolise this iron for the production of haemoglobin.  This in-turn helps the efficient transport of oxygen around the body, resulting in improved energy and recovery levels, and reducing tiredness and fatigue.  Another example is lysine and vitamin D, for which studies have shown that both ingredients help the body's absorption and retention of calcium, resulting in improved bone and muscle health.

Our Everyday Tablets also include magnesium, another essential mineral crucial for energy regulation, in addition to having numerous other benefits linked to muscle & nerve function, immune system support and bone health, which we touch upon in more detail later.

Supporting the Immune System

The immune system is made up of biological structures and processes within the body that help provide resistance and defense against diseases, infections and toxins.

Our Everyday Tablets include 13 ingredients that help support a proper functioning immune system, giving your body the best chance to tell any foreign pathogens to jog on.

Included in this list of ingredients are vitamins B2, B12 and D, all of which we've specifically included extra amounts in our tablets to ensure that your body is always ready and raring for a fight against unwanted pathogens.

Stronger, Healthier Hair & Nails

We all want to look our best.  That's why we've included a range of ingredients that specifically targets the strength, health and growth of hair and nails.

Biotin, selenium, zinc and copper all contribute to the growth of strong, healthy hair and nails.  Biotin has been shown to improve the body's keratin infrastructure, and studies have shown a clinical improvement to hair and nail growth as a result of regular biotin intake.  Selenium helps kill off free radicals, therefore strengthening hair follicles, in addition to being essential for the production of thyroid hormones that help regulate hair growth.

Similarly, copper is known for being an important mineral for both hair and skin pigmentation due to its role in melanin production.  As a result, copper can help reinvigorate hair colour and prevent greying.

The variety of powerful antioxidants also help with the health and growth of hair by mitigating oxidative stress and the damaging free radicals that are created as a result, strengthening hair follicles and benefitting the circulatory system to ensure your hair gets the nutrients it requires.

Bone Health & Muscle Recovery

There are 8 ingredients in our Everyday Tablets that help maintain strong, healthy bones and muscles.  One such ingredient is vitamin D.  Without vitamin D the body cannot absorb calcium and we all know calcium is crucial for maintaining strong bones and teeth, but is also essential for muscle contractions.  This is why we've included an extra healthy dosing of vitamin D in our tablets.

Whilst magnesium is well known for its impact on energy levels, it is also an essential mineral for healthy bone formation, with research showing adequate magnesium intake resulting in improved bone density.  Magnesium also helps regulate calcium and vitamin D levels, further benefitting bone and muscle health.

Studies have shown vitamin B12 as also having a positive impact on bone density, in addition to having a beneficial impact on the body's nervous system, cognitive performance and energy levels.

Various ingredients such as lysine, among others, assist muscle recovery by helping stimulate muscle synthesis and reduce inflammation. Other ingredients, such as iron and magnesium, help with muscle performance by improving the availability of oxygen and glucose.

Boost Cognitive Function

We all want to feel alert and on the top of our game. At least 6 ingredients in our Everyday Tablets have been linked to improvements in cognition and brain function, helping to blow away some of that mental fog that can sometimes settle.

Such ingredients include green tea extract, shown to benefit both cognition (memory and attention) and brain function, in addition to having some possible benefits on mood and reducing anxiety.

Additionally, iron deficiency can lead to significant cognitive impairment. Therefore, a healthy dose of iron in our Everyday Tablets mitigates the risk of such impairments slowing you down, ensuring your brain is properly fuelled.

Included in this is also vitamin B12, which has a crucial role in the production and synthesis of serotonin, helping stabilise mood, feelings of happiness and well-being, having subsequent benefits on focus and task performance.

Brighter & Clearer Skin

There are a range of ingredients included in our Everyday Tablets that contribute towards skin health. Seeing as skin is the largest organ of the body, it's worth taking care of, right?

Among these ingredients are copper and vitamin C, that have roles in the production of elastin and collagen, crucial for maintaining skin firmness and elasticity, therefore, helping to mitigate signs of skin ageing. Copper is involved in the production of melanin, a pigment that gives skin colour. Other ingredients include niacin and alpha lipoic acid that help protect the skin from the harmful UV rays. Also zinc and lysine both which help with healing the skin from wounds.

The selection of powerful antioxidants included also help reduce the amount of free radicals in the body, therefore, protecting skin cells from damage, slowing signs of ageing and reducing skin inflammation.

Powerful Antioxidants

The term 'antioxidant' gets chucked around a lot, and everyone knows that antioxidants are good for you in some shape or form.  But, what exactly is an antioxidant and how does it benefit you?

An antioxidant is a compound that pretty much does what it says on the tin, i.e. inhibits oxidation.  This begs the question - what is oxidation and why do we want to stop it?  Oxidation consists of chemical reactions in the body that produce a waste substance called free radicals.  Oxidative stress is caused when the body cannot efficiently rid itself of these free radicals, causing damage to cells, proteins and DNA in the body.  Oxidative stress has been linked a variety of health issues, including heart disease, cancer, arthritis and immune deficiency.  Studies also show that oxidative stress contributes towards ageing and premature hair loss.

So, antioxidants are renown for good reason due to their help in tackling a huge range of issues.  This is why we've crammed 10 potent antioxidants into our Everyday Tablets.
